We had a great time renting this machine on our own. It was so nice to get away from all the cruise crowds. Great folks, we highly recommend this local family owned business! And, we saw bears 🐻!!

Absolutely great experience. My family and I came in on cruise and were walking through town when we saw this place. Compared to the guided bus rides and other similar businesses, he was the best priced.We saw a sow with her 2 cubs and a bald eagle snatching salmon from the water. What made the experience even better was Joe. Super good dude and veteran. Support this business!

This is a must if your ship stops in Icy Straits. Bypass the cruise ship ATV excursion where you follow each other single file and venture out on your own in beautiful Tongass National Park. Joe, the owner of Hoonah ATV is fantastic. Great communication, very safety conscious, equipment runs perfectly. You have the whole park to yourself to explore , spend as much time as you want enjoying the beautiful views and abundant wildlife. Amazing experience.

This was a once in a lifetime adventure. False Bay is a perfect day trip especially for those wanting to get away from the cruise crowd. Owner is very helpful and ensures you have a safe trip. Best excursion on the cruise!

My friend and I had an absolute blast touring beautiful Hoonah on UTV. Joe was very knowledgeable and led us right to some bears to see! Can’t wait to come back

Joe is a great guy to work with. Very thorough and patient to ensure people feel good about their experience. He even picked us up after our rental and drove us to the cruise terminal. Nice good local business.

Very fun riding ATV. Not hard for 60-year Olds. Great tour guide. Not a lot of look out points and vehicles were too loud to see bears. Still worth it. Good shopping and lunch areas near cruise boat pier.

Amazing adventure we had thanks to Joe and Hoonah ATV tours. 100% taken care of, ATV came with GPS, panic buttons, side nets, mirrors and anytime anywhere communication to Joe the owner (if activated). We ran through a dandelion field, saw eagles, saw a mama bear and two baby cub. I felt like I was living off the pages in a storybook. Every minute was worth it! Best way to support a local in Hoonah!

One of my best time seeing the wilderness. Joe was amazing we rented the atv on the spot and the journey was fabulous ‼️Seen bear with her cubs. Eagles and the nest, a beautiful field of flowers. Exciting and fun.A must see when traveling to Alaska.
